In the vanilla game, there is only 1 copy-paste instance. It's quite annoying wanting to copy and paste structures, without stamping them and deleting them. So I decided to put a new feature in speculation about multiple temporary storage instances in the game. Adding this will do the following:
In conclusion, this is about creating multiple "copy and paste" instances for storing your builds.
I am saying i do not want to make and remove stamps
I think a clipboard stack would be very useful. It might even be able to clear my horrible stamp clutter.
Yes, that's what i'm basically saying; A clipboard stack would be extremely useful for removing stamp clutter, not having to go to your stamps and take like 1 hour to delete all unnecessary stamps.
Most common operating systems either have an option or support extensions for clipboard history. However, the TPT clipboard appears to only partially connect to the OS clipboard, if at all. It would be nice to have an option within TPT for clipboard history.
This already exists on Windows. Steps to do it:

That covers windows, but what about macos, linux, other OS? and platform clipboard is **not** multiple clipboard instances; like control c and control b copy 2 things and use control n and control v to paste those things.
Perhaps something like a clipboard history can be implemented with what I call a limited stamp function. Normally, stamps get a randomized default name and aren't automatically deleted, so you can make a virtually unlimited number of stamps by using the S key enough times.
If we do something like shift-S or option-S, then stamps could get a name like "limited_stamp1" through "limited_stamp25." Once we get to the 26th "limited" stamp (used as an example, as the Windows clipboard history also has this length), then we will start deleting/overwriting previous "limited" stamps. If we manually rename a limited stamp, then it will not get deleted or overwritten.
