The menus on the mobile version don't like to scroll and will instead just sit there and not scroll. Is this intentional?

 Whenever I go into the options menu, turn on ambient heat, change it then continue playing. Later if I go into the options menu again and try to scroll down to something like edge mode if I want to change it, sometimes the menu just refuses to scroll and instead puts me into the text box to edit ambient heat even if I didn't press on it.
