A ctype detector has been suggested countless times in the tpt history.  But perhaps, instead of a new sensor element, we could add a new operator for LDTC:

LDTC tmp2 16="ctype mode".

In this operator mode, LDTC scans for ctypes intead of types.  This should be relatively easy to code compared to adding an entirely new element.  Like all of LDTC's operator modes, it can be used in conjunction with other modes; a tmp2 of 17, for instance, will make LDTC be triggered by any ctype except the one that matches it's own.
