    that would have some issues. the way i'm removing the excess quartz growth is with double-sided E-wall, and removing 1 side would significantly hamper its removing ability, forcing a longer cycle to ensure the system won't get jammed up. also, that would result in some -1 tmp quartz, while my method ensures entirely pure quartz. using cray for regenerating the catalyst is like using cray(bray) for heating/cooling.
